Our second time at Alla vita, this time for chicago restaurant week. For $25 you had 3 courses. For the first course we chose the arancini and tuna crudo. The arancini is to die far each time I get it. First time having tuna crudo and it was quite tasty. The star of the show was definitely the rigatoni alla vodka. The tagliettelle was just ok.
Alla Vita was a treat! We stayed in Chicago for a few days in July after a friend's wedding and decided to do a date night here. We were staying around river north so it was a short walk from the hotel. We ordered the roasted octopus, fennel sausage pizza, and squid ink strozzapreti for dinner.
